Freedom Bay

A property contaminated with arsenic from the historic application of pesticides was to be developed into a Progressive Care community consisting of independent living and assisted care units, a nursing home, medical offices, a walk-in clinic, and a day care. NE&C reduced the scope of the remediation by using statistical analysis to delineate naturally occurring arsenic. Because NE&C also provided site development services for the project, the remedial action and development plans were prepared in concert, minimizing the remediation cost and delays.
