Northeast Engineers & Consultants conducted a condition appraisal, and prepared an existing conditions report and construction documents for repairs of the Promenade beachfront public parking garage in Ventura CA. As a result of continuous exposure to the ocean environment, the reinforcement of the existing spandrel wall at the rooftop (fourth level) of the parking structure had corroded to a condition where the structural adequacy of the reinforcement had failed. The existing condition of the area concerned caused a grave threat to the public’s safety.
