Carnegie Abbey Marina

Northeast Engineers & Consultants provided waterfront engineering and planning for a new full service, 41-slip marina to be part of Carnegie Sporting Community in Portsmouth RI. The marina is the first in-land marina designed and built on the East Coast since World War II. The marina bulkhead was installed upland, and approximately 58,000 cubic yards of materials from the basin were excavated. The dredged material was dewatered on site and incorporated into a future equestrian facility.
