Forty 1°North Hotel and Marina

The deteriorated marine facilities that once served as a hub for America’s Cup activity throughout the 1970s and 1980s was transformed into a premier destination for large yacht owners. Providing facilities capable of securing mega-yachts involves massive dynamic loading encompassing wind, wave, and current forces. In response, NE&C managed a full scale underwater inspection of the marina facility, produced a detailed structural drawing set, and designed and permitted repairs. With the combined diligence of NE&C and its partners, Forty 1°North was able to complete construction The project was on a tight 30-day construction schedule.
