Roger Williams University

Northeast Engineers & Consultants provided master planning services along the coastline of the Roger Williams University campus. NE&C assessed existing conditions along the waterfront including identification of all coastal features, plant and wildlife, wetlands and water types. A sub-aquatic survey was conducted to locate all eel grass and to assess habitat conditions, locations and needed buffer zones.  The Preliminary Master Plan took into consideration the environmental conditions, zoning, permitting requirements, and complied with the Bristol Comprehensive Plan and the University Master Plan to address walking path for public access, the creation of view corridors, facility needs, waterfront recreation and boat house, buffer management area, and salt marsh demonstration area.
