Join Northeast Engineers in celebrating Energy Independence Day on Sunday, July 5th from 1:00-4:00pm under the wind turbine at Portsmouth High school, 120 Educational Lane, Portsmouth, RI.

The free fun-filled family event is being held to highlight America’s reliance on foreign oil and the damage of fossil fuels on our climate and environment.

The gathering features a pot luck picnic, educational activities, and exhibits by non-profit organizations and vendors. Activities include an energy facts scavenger hunt, a mock-up wind turbine that families can be photographed with, high-mileage vehicles, and give-aways and contests.
