Former Kaiser Aluminum and Chemical Facility
Northeast Engineers & Consultants provided environmental engineering services ranging from the initial Phase I Environmental Site Assessment to the final remediation of the former Kaiser Aluminum & Chemical Corporation property where a wire extrusion plant operated for approximately 20 years. The property was occupied by a coal mine operation prior to the construction of the factory.
The once contaminated brownfield is now a thriving new luxury residential community known as the Carnegie Harbor Village.
